Joe is a very popular stylist here in the salon, he works full time and knows many of our salon guests, who have followed his progress over the last 5 years and seen him grow into the accomplished stylist he is today.

Joe is a friendly, approachable and capable hairdresser with a particular interest in cutting and all types of colouring, highlighting and brights and vivid colour techniques.

Joe trained as an apprentice since 2021 and qualified NVQ level 3 in February 2026.

Joe has since completed many in-salon L’Oreal colouring technique courses, Davines retail and product knowledge training and attended a creative cutting masterclass with Frazer Wallace, Scottish Hairdresser of the year 2024, where he created a transformation on his model and won praise from Frazer and peers. More recently Joe attended a barbering course held at the London L’Oreal Academy with Jason Hall, the award winning Scottish barber.

Joe enjoys meeting new clients and has an interest in travelling, skateboarding, many sports and socialising.

Emily is a full time 2nd year apprentice stylist and is already proving she has a natural flair and aptitude for hairdressing, with a great attitude and willingness to learn both in salon and college.

Emily is a great asset to the team with a natural flair for presentation, social media and people skills. Taylor Wood prides itself on offering a nurturing and supportive environment thus enabling our apprentice stylists to flourish and fulfil their potential.

Emily is currently ahead of schedule to qualify as a NVQ Level 2 hairdresser. We are all excited to watch her grow and develop as a skilled hair stylist.
